A short history
Everything started in 2012 in a 35 sqm garage, where we opened a rehearsal room for bands that wanted to practice and had nowhere to do it. It was very basic and the equipment was quite vintage, but we didn’t give up and eventually reached where we are today.
A.P. Road Studio, later becoming APRoad Backline, takes its name from the street where the first rehearsal room was located in 2013—Anton Pann Street (named after Anton Pann, a former poet, religious music teacher, protopsalt, composer of religious music, folklorist, writer and publicist, and the composer of the music of Romania’s national anthem).

We have a constantly growing and perfecting
the Backline area. From guitar amplifiers, drums to orchestral instruments. you will find what you are looking for with us. Our equipment is always in the best condition and is regularly checked, serviced and renewed by the technicians in our in-house workshop. We attach great importance to quality.
On the other hand, we also offer extremely well maintained vintage material, such as Leslies, Fender combos, Rhodes pianos ….

We have everything what you need for an inspirational rehearsal, We’ve built three rehearsal rooms, each with its own unique design and vibe.
One of these spaces will pull you into the right mood from the moment you walk in. Every detail was created to help you connect with your style, unlock your creativity and to avoid monotony.
We now have over 200 square meters to carry out our activities, and the lounge area allows us to relax while playing billiards.

We are a team of music enthusiasts with more than 10 years of experience in the business, in partnership with numerous local and international live music production companies, so our possibilities are nearly endless.
